AB 488 Compliance Data - Franchise Tax Board Update

As of October 2024, the California State Franchise Tax Board (FTB) has updated their format of IDs from a numeric integer (12345678) to an alphanumeric string (1A2B3C4D).

While this will not affect Candid data products such as APIs and Data Sets, consumers of our API and data sets including this Franchise Tax Board ID should check to see whether their processes and systems depend on the typeof data received for this ID.
